Academic finance and administration

The role of the academic finance and administration team is to provide the administrative support required to stimulate research and academic excellence in support of VCU’s strategic plan, Quest for Distinction 2025: Together We Transform.

The team supports the university’s academic units in their budget creation, implementation and evaluation. In addition to providing leadership in these areas, the team also ensures units’ financial efforts comply with university financial policies and helps VCU units optimize their budget and make the best use of their resources as they pursue VCU’s mission.
