Student Success
VCU created its new Student Success unit in Dec. 2017, bringing to life a key initiative directly tied into the president's priorities, the provost's priorities, and the VCU strategic plan.
Encompassing a number of existing units on campus, the Student Success focuses on student retention, academic success, and successful graduation and career outcomes.
Unit mission
The Student Success unit establishes a campus environment that eliminates barriers to graduation, encourages engagement with faculty and our community, and creates opportunities to develop tangible and intangible career skills.
