Students

At VCU's Office of the Provost, providing a dynamic, distinct and meaningful academic experience for our students remains our top priority.

We believe students shouldn't just feel like a number, or just another face in the crowd. That's why we support our students from convocation to graduation (and beyond) in any way we can.

The success of our students is so integral to VCU that we created a full office for it. The Student Success unit incorporates academic and career advising as well as other related support services, such as tutoring and the Writing Center, to ensure every student can get what they want out of their time at VCU.

The Division of Student Affairs, meanwhile, fosters a safe and welcoming environment for all VCU students. The division oversees a variety of services around campus that promote physical, social, mental, emotional and financial wellness for students.

On the admissions side, VCU's Division of Strategic Enrollment Management provides primary oversight for the recruitment, retention and graduation of students at all levels.
