Beverly Warren, Ed.D., Ph.D., FACSM, serves as the interim senior vice president for academic affairs since June 1, 2025. In her role as interim provost, Dr. Warren is responsible for creating and implementing the academic priorities for the university. She works closely with academic deans, faculty and other leadership within the university to ensure a safe, high-quality learning experience for all VCU students.
Dr. Warren also leads faculty recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring that VCU's diverse, outstanding faculty are supported and well-prepared to serve our students' needs.
