Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs 

Reporting to the Senior Vice Provost (SVP), the Vice Provost (VP) for Faculty Affairs provides support for the entire faculty lifecycle. The VP works with the SVP to ensure the integrity of the promotion and tenure (P&T) process, the development, interpretation and implementation of faculty policies, the resolution of complex personnel issues, and implementation of initiatives and priorities. As a key partner to the SVP, the VP works with Deans, Associate Deans, and Department Chairs to ensure that faculty affairs practices across all schools and colleges are equitable, transparent, and aligned with the university’s R1 research mission. The VP works with the Assistant Vice Provosts in faculty affairs to provide high quality service to the university.
