The end of spring semester is getting closer, and with it comes many important end-of-semester dates for faculty.

March 24, 2017: Last day for students to withdraw from a course with a mark of “W”

Fri., March 24, 2017 is the last day for withdraw on both campuses (except for courses not scheduled for the full semester). See the Academic Calendar for full semester information.

March 30, 2017: Quest Commercialization Fund applications close

The Quest Commercialization Fund is now accepting applications for its second round of proof-of-concept funding. In this second round of funding, a total of $150,000 is available, with a maximum of $50,000 per project. Read more.

April 12, 2017: VCU Common Book author Bryan Stevenson speaks at VCU

Bryan Stevenson, author of the 2016-17 VCU Common Book, Just Mercy, will speak with VCU students, faculty, staff and the greater Richmond community on Wed., April 12, 2017 at 6 P.M. at the VCU Siegel Center. Read more.

April 15, 2017: Deadline to submit summer and fall textbook adoptions to Barnes & Noble

May 1, 2017: Applications close for Provost’s Office Faculty Fellows 2017-18

The VCU Provost’s Office Faculty Fellow Program supports faculty members who have an interest in deepening their knowledge and skills in higher education administration and in contributing to the operations of the Provost’s Office. Learn more and apply by May 1, 2017 at 4 p.m.

May 1, 2017: Deadline for faculty to RSVP for May Commencement
