New York Times article on "Dreamers"

The Department of Homeland Security has announced it will continue the Obama-era program protecting "Dreamers" - undocumented immigrants who came to the United States as small children - at least in the short term, according to a New York Times article published June 16.

While these protections will remain in place for now, White House officials say the Trump administration has yet to decide the long-term fate of the program.

We at VCU will continue to monitor the administration's stance on the matter, and will work to keep our faculty, staff and students informed should any changes in policy take effect.
