Applications Open for Provost’s Office Faculty Fellows Program

Faculty, Provost updates

Author: Office of the Provost

The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce its Faculty Fellows Program, an initiative designed to cultivate faculty leadership for the academic affairs, faculty affairs, student affairs and community engagement aspects of our university mission. This year (2016-17), the pilot year for the Faculty Fellows Program, we have welcomed six outstanding Faculty Fellows representing the College of Humanities and Sciences, the School of Allied Health Professions, the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs, the School of Pharmacy and the University College. Click here to meet the current fellows.

The program supports faculty members who have an interest in deepening their knowledge and skills in higher education administration and in contributing to the operations of the Provost’s Office. Fellows are appointed for two academic semesters with the potential of extending their appointment for an additional two semesters.

Applications are now available for the 2017-18 academic year. The deadline is May 1, 2017 at 4 P.M. Click here to learn more and apply.
