On Feb. 22, VCU will host an interactive town hall for its REAL (Relevant, Experiential and Applied Learning) initiative. The event, scheduled for 9-10:30 a.m. in the seminar rooms (Rooms 1231-1232) of the Grace and Broad Residence 2 at 1010 W. Grace St., is free and open to all members of the VCU community.
In addition to providing an update on the initiative's status, the town hall will also include a Q&A session, providing opportunities for dialogue between the audience and members of the REAL task force.
"This town hall is really open to everyone — faculty, staff and students — to come ask us their questions about REAL, hear about the work we've done to date and give input that will shape REAL's future," Erin Webster Garrett, assistant vice provost for REAL, said. "We're hoping to answer any questions that may be floating around out there about this initiative. The goal is to find some opportunities for collaboration that will make REAL even more meaningful for our students and faculty."
If you're interested in attending the REAL town hall, please RSVP via our online form. Space for the event is limited, however, so spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
