VCU's Relevant, Experiential and Applied Learning initiative and the Division for Community Engagement will co-host a half-day workshop in the VCU Globe building (830 W. Grace St.) from 9 a.m. to noon on May 16.
Free and open to both faculty and staff alike, this event is designed to address the whys and hows of reflective practice and pedagogy, offering strategies for incorporating reflection into your teaching and student mentoring. A carefully-curated panel of seasoned VCU practitioners will share the ways they have creatively used reflection in their work with students, as well as the lessons they've learned along the way.
Participants will also experience multiple reflection examples, be provided with reflection resources, and will create their own reflection activities with the support of expert facilitators.
If you'd like to attend, please RSVP via our online form. The deadline for signing up is Sunday, May 12.
