Faculty input needed: CTLE Strategic Planning

Provost updates, Faculty

Author: Office of the Provost

Over the last two years, faculty and administrators have voiced a desire for a sustainable and impactful faculty development unit. I am, therefore, pleased to announce that the planning phase for a new Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) at VCU has launched.

The planning phase begins with an online activity aimed at brainstorming CTLE objectives. The link is below and I urge all faculty to participate.
The deadline for completion is December 2, 2016.

To participate in the activity, which should take no more than 5-10 minutes to complete, click here:
CTLE Strategic Planning. You will be asked to register using an email address or user name and a password of your choosing.

In mid-December we will reach out to you again and ask that you log in to rate the applicability and importance of each objective submitted during the brainstorming phase to you and your academic unit.

If you have any questions about this activity or the planning process, please contact Enoch Hale, Ph.D., the director of teaching and learning excellence in the Office of Faculty Affairs, at
804-827-2002 or ehale2@vcu.edu.

You can read more about this project in a recent
